On July 29, Shiba Inu's marketing lead, Lucie, provided new insights into the Web3 version of the Shiba Eternity game, revealing its expected launch date and access details. According to Lucie, citing Shiba Games’ lead Angel, the closed beta testing for its Web3 version will begin this week. 

This launch aims to redefine the collectible card game genre on Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium.

To gain exclusive access to the closed beta, players must stake their LEASH tokens on ShibaSwap, the Shiba Inu ecosystem's decentralized exchange. Initially, only LEASH holders will have access, but the team plans to extend this to holders of specific non-fungible tokens (NFTs) such as SHEboshi, Shiba Eternity Lore NFTs, or Shiboshi.

What to Expect From the Shiba Eternity Game?

The official X handle of Shiba Eternity, recently reactivated after a year, has also hinted at the imminent launch, emphasizing the game's move into the Web3 space with decentralized features. The closed beta is the first step towards the official launch on the Shibarium mainnet, with public access to follow after successful testing.
