Pixelverse, a quest-based battler set in a Cyberpunk pixelated universe raised an additional $2 Million in private funding. The funding round led Pixelverse's total funding to over $7.5 Million.

Pixelverse's co-founder and COO, Kori Leon, disclosed a plan to onboard people to Web3 through game design. Leon also said that the raised funds will be used for the development leading up to this summer’s Token Generation Event (TGE).
Pixelverse (PIXFI) Airdrop and TGE could be expected in July 2024. However, it is a tentative schedule and can be changed depending on the situation. Moreover, fundraising and Leon’s statement spread a silver lining among the PIXFI community.
According to RootData, the Web3 gaming platform raised $2 Million and over $5.5 Million from different funding rounds.
On June 12, the platform received $2 Million from investors such as Galaxy Interactive, Crit Ventures and Mike Dudas. Moreover, Investors like Delphi Digital, Bitscale Capital, and Merit Circle were involved in $5.5 Million funding.
Pixelverse was launched in 2023, the platform recently launched its tap-to-earn Telegram game, PixelTap which uses the TON blockchain. The game is accessible through the Telegram messaging app. The platform has amassed over 70 million registered users and 13 million daily active users, according to the project's statement.
Furthermore, PixelTap hasn’t listed its PIXFI token yet which somehow creates a battleground between Pixelverse and Hamster Kombat (HMSTR), a viral Telegram-based crypto game.
The recent plan announcement for Hamster Kombat airdrop and Bybit’s pre-market trading raised the craze for HMSTR among individuals. However, there are no official date has been announced as of yet, but the community is expecting it somewhere in July 2024.
As per the roadmap, the team will launch TGE and token in-game utility launch in July and Squad Kombat, time-limited events, characters, and live events in Q3 2024. The token has recently crossed 250 million users, indicating the crypto community's fame.
PIXFI, alternatively announced its TGE this summer, creating tough competition between the gaming giants.
