Gaming-focused Ethereum (ETH) layer 2 (L2) scaling solution for allowing speedy and safe transactions as well as zero gas fees for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and blockchain gaming.
Notably, the launch of Myria L2 features a full suite of developer and gamer-focused tools, including the Myria Developer SDK, the Myria Wallet, and the NFT marketplace. According to a Myria press release, these tools enable users and producers to take advantage of the protocol's scaling benefits.
Myria's L2 employs StarkWare's Zero-Knowledge Rollup (ZK-Rollup) technology, allowing it to handle up to 9,000 transactions per section (TPS), a significant increase over Ethereum's rate of less than 50 TPS.

Furthermore, blockchain gaming and NFT users may create their own Myria wallets with a single click, mint, trade, and transfer NFTs quickly, with no gas fees and no carbon footprint.
Brendan Duhamel, Myria's co-founder, commented, "We are really lucky to have such a strong community willing to join the Myria L2. The team is overjoyed to see our vision become a reality with this launch."
The Myria Developer Solution follows an API-first approach, simplifying complex blockchain interactions via Myria's REST APIs and software development kits (SDKs). This allows a developer to create any NFT product, such as a blockchain game, in a matter of hours without having to understand blockchain coding languages like Solidity.
Duhamel said, "We are really excited to take the industry to the next level with what we've accomplished. We see enormous potential in the underlying technology we've developed to facilitate NFT scaling, and we believe blockchain gaming will be the next major area for NFTs. This is why we developed NFT solutions specifically for game developers and game builders. We've only just begun!"
Over 1 million verified users on Myria
Furthermore, even before the debut of its L2, the platform presently has over 1.2 million verified registered users and over 100 projects that are powered by Myria. This was achieved by providing the value of its L2 through a frictionless blockchain development experience.
Finally, it’s worth mentioning that Myria’s team continues to grow with over 150 employees who are veterans of the gaming and blockchain sectors, having previously worked for Ubisoft, EA, Riot Games, Blizzard Activision, Tencent, Chainlink (LINK), and BitMex, among others.
