Ebi Exchange, a rapidly growing perpetual DEX built on Arbitrum One, recently announced a delay in its highly anticipated Hamster Kombat airdrop. The delay is due to overwhelming demand, with millions of users attempting to process transactions on the platform. As a result, the team decided to postpone the airdrop launch by a few hours to ensure a smoother experience for its users.
In response to the inconvenience, ebi.xyz has generously offered 50K EBI points to affected users as compensation, expressing their appreciation for the community’s patience during this time. The company aims to ensure that everyone can participate in the airdrop without any issues once the platform’s capacity is stabilized.
Akira Ebi, Head of PR and Marketing at ebi.xyz, emphasized the company’s commitment to its users, stating, “We deeply value our community’s trust and patience. We understand how important this airdrop is to our users and want to ensure that everyone can participate without any issues. By offering 50K EBI points to each user, we hope to express our appreciation for their patience and mitigate any frustration caused by the delay.”
Ebi exchange has experienced rapid growth in recent weeks, surpassing 145,000 new users in under a week and achieving $135 million in trade volumes within just 24 hours. This growth showcases the platform's strength, but also highlights the challenges of managing such a high volume of transactions.
The Hamster Kombat airdrop will still be conducted on ebi.xyz, with users able to redeem their positions directly on the platform. Participants will have the option to either hold or sell their Hamster Kombat tokens for USDT, which can be withdrawn to any EVM-compatible wallet.
