The VeChainThor public blockchain uses two tokens, one of which is the VeThor Token. VeChain was first released in 2015, but in 2018, it went through a major rebranding. VeChain Token (VET) is the native token for the platform, but VeThor Token (VTHO) is an important part of how the blockchain works as a whole.
