We are individuals and organisations working in open source networks to create new methods of sustainable public goods finance and value alignment. Our goal with Funding the Commons is to connect the community of public goods across Web2, Web3, research, charity, and industry. We accomplish this by bringing together builders and practitioners, researchers and academics, funders and philanthropists, and others to catalyse innovation in public goods. In the future, we hope to broaden our effect by allowing the establishment of a public goods fund linked to impact evaluators, which will seed projects proposed and hatched by the Funding the Commons community.
