REVV (REVV) is a utility token that is used in blockchain motorsport games made by Animoca Brands as in-game currency. In F1 Delta Time, MotoGP Ignition, and REVV Racing, it helps keep the game economy going. These projects are based on the idea of "play-to-earn," in which gamers are rewarded for their contributions to the game world with cryptocurrency.
During gameplay, you can get REVV by taking part in time-trial races and grand-prix tournaments, betting on race cars, and getting dividends from owning a race track. In this digital universe, players can use the currency to buy non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and pay entry fees to play games.
The official lightpaper, which is a summary of a whitepaper, says that REVV's first token sale happened in September 2020, just before the launch of F1 Delta Time in December 2020. After that, it was added to MotoGP Ignition and REVV Racing when they came out in March 2021 and August 2021, respectively.
Yat Siu, an entrepreneur, started Animoca Brands in 2014 in Hong Kong. He was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, and he used to work for Atari, a well-known company that makes games. He also started Outblaze and is the CEO of it. Outblaze is a technology company that makes digital media products.
