MDEX is a new protocol for trading that started up in January 2021. MDEX is an automated market making (AMM) decentralised exchange protocol that works on the idea of fund pools. It is similar to standard DEXs in some ways, but it stands out by using a dual-chain model based on both the Ethereum network and the Huobi Ecological Chain (HECO), which gives it access to the liquidity of the Ethereum ecosystem. MDEX is a trading platform that was built on top of HECO. It is estimated that each token swap will cost $0.001 and take three seconds. Most DeFi projects live on the Ethereum network as ERC-20 assets, but as it moves to Ethereum 2.0, it is having trouble with expensive gas fees and slow transaction speeds.
