CVault.finance is a decentralised finance protocol with a deflationary governance token called CORE that users can stake and use to yield farm. The platform also plans to add "Automated Strategy Vaults," which will let strategies that make money for staked tokens run automatically.

cVault.finance wants to be fully decentralised, so its governance model is called "the strongest and most involved in DeFi." The people who own CORE tokens vote as a group to make changes to the protocol, such as making new liquidity pools or getting rid of old ones.

CVault.finance was started by two developers with fake names, "0xRevert" and "X 3," in September 2020. The two have worked on traditional software projects in the past, but cVault.finance is their first project that involves cryptography. The platform's co-founders said they decided to make it after seeing how DeFi yield farming operations "fantastically imploded" because of bad economic decisions, like minting new tokens as part of the farming process.

CVault.finance tries to stand out from other DeFi protocols by putting most of its attention on deflationary yield farming. The project thinks that making new tokens to reward liquidity providers, which is what many DeFi protocols do, is not a long-term solution because it makes the token less valuable. It has called this way of giving people a reason to do something "flawed and short-sighted."
