Dubai is preparing to bring its administration to the metaverse

According to sources, the Dubai government is getting ready to make some of its offices accessible in the metaverse. According to remarks made during a metaverse event by Sharad Agarwal, chief metaverse officer of Cybergear, the nation is actively looking for outside parties to assist it in organizing the shift of certain of its departments to the virtual world.

In order to allow users to conduct activities in these facilities in the future, Dubai, an emirate that is a member of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is apparently moving some of its governmental agencies into the metaverse. This would be the nation's next move after it previously unveiled its Dubai Metaverse Strategy to establish this technology as a crucial component of the emirate's future.

At a regional metaverse-themed event, Sharad Agarwal, the chief metaverse officer of Dubai-based Cybergear, discussed this procedure. “Government agencies and ministries have started asking us to help them become Metaverse-enabled,” he said. “Dubai will soon take the lead as the global center for cryptocurrency and the Metaverse.”

But it will take time for these spaces to be built and for their purposes to be established. The next thing Agarwal said was, "There is hard work involved. You need to identify what services you want to give and business strategy before onboarding the community just like it does in the actual world.

Dubai is one of the nations that has implemented a worldwide strategy to turn the metaverse into a successful enterprise in the future. By 2030, the metaverse is expected to contribute 1% of the country's GDP, according to the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, which also seeks to create 42,000 virtual employment. With a budget of $177 million, other nations like South Korea are also making significant investments in the growth of their own metaverse industries.
