The Deriva DAO is a decentralised exchange (DEX) for Ethereum derivatives. It is proud of having key performance advantages over other DEXs, such as a real-time price feed, fast trade resolution, and a competitive fee structure. Since Deriva DAO has been a DAO from the start, traders and token holders have direct control over the platform and decide how it is run. Deriva DAO wants to fill the gap between trading and blockchain by fixing the problems that other exchanges, both centralised and decentralised, have. Deriva solves the problems that CEXs have with weak security and possible regulation by being built as a DAO. This gets rid of worries about censorship and a single point of failure. With an order book model that solves the liquidity and user experience problems of decentralised exchanges, it also provides a good user experience that doesn't waste a lot of money. Deriva DAO says that it will match the speed and efficiency of centralised exchanges with its off-chain price feeds, matching engine, and liquidation operators. Aditya Palepu, who went to Duke and used to be an algorithmic trader and has experience in software engineering, started Deriva DAO. He has a team of nine people helping him, including co-founder Frederic Fortier, a software engineer in San Francisco with more than a decade of experience building distributed systems.
